1 Why Meditate?
- It is good for you: Calms you and makes you less reactive.
- It feels good: Makes you happier, more compassionate, accepting, and more focused.
- You’ll notice when you skip it.
- If you can breathe in and out, you can meditate!
- Meditation affects your body. physically, mentally, and emotionally.
- Changes begin occurring in as little as 3 minutes!
- Trust your intuition
- Do not judge your practice
- Move at your own pace

- Breathe in and out of your nose always in meditation and breath awareness exercises.
- “The Breath as Ocean Waves” Exercise
- Sit with a straight spine.
- Rest your hands comfortably.
- Set a designated place and time for meditation practice.
- Use “I AM” as a simple mantra.
- Link the mantra with the breath.
- Understand the roots of the “I AM” mantra.
- Connect with a Power greater than yourself.
- Connect with nature and all beings.
- Begin to practice for just 10 minutes a day.
